Guest House Pension Veldzigt is today’s answer to low- cost yet comfortable accommodation. We have 10 years experience in accommodating individuals and groups from  both national and international companies who require either short or long- term accommodation for their personnel.
The proximity of Pension Veldzigt to the industry estate, “Harlinger Nieuwe Industrie Haven “ situated a mere 1km away, means less travel  time and expenses for companies whose workforce is employed there.
Business estate “Oostpoort”is situated within 3km , and ship- building yard De Vries, Makkum is no more than 15mins drive away.
The busy town of Harlingen is 3km away, and  Pension Veldzigt is directly on the bus route. Amsterdam is only an hour’s drive away along modern motorways.
At Pension Veldzigt we pride ourselves on our hospitality and strive to provide the services required by  our guests of all nationalities!

All our accommodation is since 2011 on the basis of self -catering, and  with this in mind,  inside the house we have a large kitchen/dining room with 3 individual cooking stations, fridges and deep freezes, microwaves etc. 

Our homely rooms, all on the ground floor  of  the original farmhouse , have single beds and washbasins , and share the sanitary  facilities of  the  modernised shower rooms with wc, making them ideal for low- budget accommodation.

5 self- contained  bungalows for 1 -6 people
1 self-contained bungalow for 1-4 people

Our spacious, centrally –heated wooden bungalows, built in 2008/2009, are situated in the garden of the guest house.  All have their own kitchen and shower and wc facilities , making them a popular choice for group accommodation.

All our accommodation has free access to wireless internet , and each bungalow has its own satellite dish, enabling  guests to tune in to their own national tv stations.
For recreational purposes, we have a communal  tv room, with a pool table, where guests can sit comfortably at smaller tables for a game of cards, or just to read and relax.

 
All our rooms inside the guest- house are non-smoking , but  guests may smoke in the bungalows at the discretion of their own group.
 

Pension Veldzigt also offers laundry facilities  (free of charge)   comprising;  washing machines , tumble dryer, ironing board and iron etc.
